| These use phase
control of output voltage by loop current sensing and are disadvantaged
by (see Figs. 1 & 2): • steep fronted loop voltage • highly peaky voltage and current waveforms • amplified voltage oscillations due to cable capacitance Damped harmonic filters in the loop circuit are essential (see Fig. 3), but design may depend on runway characteristics. |
