What is Modular Parallel Architecture (MPA)?

Thycon's Modular Parallel Architecture (MPA) is based on independent Safe-Swap Modules (SSM) that include virtually the entire UPS hardware and software and hence eliminate all common parts which are potential single points of failure. A Safe-Swap MPA-Module includes distributed CPUS, distributed control panels, distributed power units and distributed static bypass switches. The batteries are separately configured for each module.
